Join us for another BIPOC Business After Hours
The professional journey for Ebenezer Akakpo, designer and owner of Akakpo & Co., has led him on a creative path that he could not have predicted. His journey has led him from the pursuit of a career in architecture to jewelry design- two very different paths with mutual applicability. With his growing brand recognition, he is keen to ensure that the foundation of his design evolution remains central to the narrative of each piece he creates.
We look forward to you welcoming you to Akakpo & Co. as we learn how Ebenezer has used his transferable skills to build a brand that embraces the beauty and cultural identity of symbols from his native Ghana.
The evening will open with networking and the gentle sounds of Hadith Bani-Adam on the Somali Oud followed by a brief conversation between Adilah Muhammad and Ebenezer Akakpo. Stick around for more networking and to peruse the shop for something for yourself or someone special.
The first 25 attendees will receive a gift certificate of $20 towards the purchase of any item in the shop (For registered attendees only).
An assortment of appetizers and complimentary beer and wine will be served.
